Arne Slot has revealed the decision on Harvey Elliott ’s Liverpool FC future with his highly unproductive loan spell at Aston Villa set to come to an end. Midfielder Elliott made the temporary switch to Villa Park at the end of last summer’s transfer window, on a season-long loan with an obligation to buy conditional on appearances made. But his time there has been a complete dud, with the 23-year-old having played just 284 minutes across the season for Unai Emery’s side – making just one Premier League start and not earning a single top-flight minute since 1 February.
