It may feel like summer's here, but it's not all sunshine and rainbows just yet, In much of the southern U.S., though, there is plenty of potential for rainbows this weekend. A large storm system is moving through much of the South this weekend along with the western part of Texas, posing risk of "sporadic large hail and severe winds," according to the National Weather Service . There's also heavy risk of flash flooding all weekend into early next week. The NWS issued a level 2 flood threat for northern Georgia, including Atlanta, and part of eastern Alabama. A less severe but still significant level 1 threat covers most of the region, including the rest of Georgia, Alabama, and Tennessee, as well as parts of Mississippi, South Carolina, and North Carolina.
