The National Pest Management Association (NPMA) collaborated with the University of Florida on the Bugs Without Borders survey , which entailed surveying 375 pest management professionals across the U.S. to identify the top trends they noticed last year. One of the main findings centers around invasive pests as a growing threat to homes nationwide. Over 40 percent of pest management professionals reported a rise in problems as a result of invasive bugs over the past year.
