Pink Parrot Media , the Montreal and Madrid-based family entertainment sales house, heads to Cannes with early deals on animated features “Tistou” and “Winner” and a strengthened sales team, tapping former All Rights Entertainment executive Aurélien Piris as senior sales manager. The company has closed first territory agreements on “Tistou,” its forthcoming CG animated feature adapted from Maurice Druon’s French children’s classic “Tistou les Pouces Verts.” The film has been sold to Front Row for the Middle East, Filmarti for Turkey, Pro Films for Bulgaria and MCF for former Yugoslavia territories. Produced by France’s Finalement in co-production with Belgium’s Walking The Dog, “Tistou” marks one of Pink Parrot Media’s main Cannes market titles.
