Just days after the Met Gala came and went, the 2026 Cannes Film Festival kicked off a slew of star-studded red carpets in the South of France. Across the two-week event, this year's participants unsurprisingly delivered major fashion moments. But what was surprising was how many indie designers landed coveted Cannes red-carpet placements.
