Curious what workouts or training people do for bumping up your run pace, specifically for short course triathlon. For context, I am generally front of pack for both the swim and bike, however I'm always several minutes back from the top runners. E.g. for a sprint my run split is typically 20-21mins and the top guys are at 17-19mins or better. I do not have a running background and wonder if it's my fitness, form/technique, or if running is just never going to be my strong suit. How do you balance training your weaknesses vs your strengths? submitted by /u/Throwawaaay010 [link] [comments]
