Does being in the scheduling queue for a previous Google role interfere with one's future Google job applications? My brother checked his Google careers portal. More than a week ago, he applied for a front end role at Google that he thought he was qualified for, but he got rejected within a few days. Just to clarify, he has applied to 3+ front end roles within the past 5 months and got all recruiter screens for it. He noticed that he is still in the scheduling queue for the previous Google role. Does being in the scheduling queue for a previous Google role interfere with his future Google job applications? If yes, should he email the recruiter at Google to take him out of the scheduling queue for the previous role and formally reject him for the previous role, so he can be eligible to apply to other Google roles? My brother was working with 1 recruiter for a front end role, but that recruiter is on maternity leave.…
