Stunna Girl was taken into custody in North Carolina after Mooresville Police pulled her over and busted the rapper on an outstanding failure to appear warrant.
Officers stopped the artist on Thursday (May 28) while she was riding in a black and white Mercedes, then booked her into the Iredell County Detention Center.
The warrant traces back to a 2017 arrest in which Stunna Girl faced charges of trespassing and resisting a public officer. Court documents reviewed by Complex show she has skipped at least two scheduled court appearances tied to that case, leaving the nearly decade-old matter unresolved.
She did not stay locked up long. A $3,500 bond secured her release within hours of being booked. She hasn’t posted about the situation on social media, but she has posted on her Instagram Stories since.
Her next required court appearance is set for July 28.
