I am having a concrete patio put in my yard. The company we are working with quoted is $3,800-$4,000 for a smaller size and when I asked how much it would be to extend it another 5-6 feet he said that he would just do the larger size for $4,000 and call it good. Perfect, gave him a deposit. He came out and dug everything out and when I got home after work I realized it was the smaller size without the additional 5-6 feet added on. Now I probably would have done the additional 5-6 feet even if he has charged more for it because that’s what I really really wanted. When my husband called and asked him about this he claims he couldn’t do the larger one because his “tires on his truck were spinning” so he couldn’t go out any farther. When my husband asked about reimbursement since we are no longer getting what was agreed to he said he wasn’t going to give us any money back since the additional space for free was originally just a favor anyways.…
