The authorities identified the man killed in a hit-and-run crash Tuesday in Pueblo as 39-year-old Kevin A. Martinez.

Officers were called shortly before 10:30 p.m. to Routt and Baystate avenues, where they found Martinez lying in the road, police said.

He was rushed to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead, according to police.

The vehicle involved in the crash fled before police arrived, and investigators did not release a description of the vehicle.

Police continue to investigate the crime.
