Tems stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon last night (March 31) to perform “What You Need” from her 2025 EP Love Is a Kingdom. She sang the ballad while a band backed her up from behind a fringe curtain. You can check that out below.
LoveIs a Kingdomdropped in November of last year. Tems wrote, composed, and produced the EP almost entirely on her own. She released her last full-length, Born in the Wild, in 2024, and won Best African Music Performance at the 2025 Grammy Awards for the album’s single “Love Me JeJe.”
