I don't really know how i feel about it, he had the least humanity of the series, so i got surprised when they made him to be that empathetic 25 yo, he feels like a good samaritan and a relatable guy, which i believe is the image Miyamoto wants for Mario now, not that 40 yo we saw on the cartoons, but a "hero", i don't know if video game Mario will ever receive such humanity, since the M&L's cartoonish and Main line Mario's bland personality have worked just fine for the past decades, but who knows right, i guess it fits for the themes of the movies, but it'd be cool to read the opinion of others submitted by /u/Suspicious-Line-9075 [link] [comments]
