A family member passed down a Privia PX-160 to me but it doesn’t include the SP-33. Would it be detrimental to get used to a regular on/off sustain pedal, and if I upgrade later to a piano with continuous pedal, will that transition feel natural or difficult? I’m mostly a beginner right now and just want to make sure I’m not building bad habits early on.
