Tory Lanez wants distance from a prison guard that he claims seeks to place him in a “dangerous housing unit.” In documents filed on May 27 in federal court, the Canadian rapper-singer, who’s currently housed in California Men’s Colony in San Luis Obispo, alleges that he’s been victim to ongoing threats, intimidation and harassment by a specific prison guard. Last year, Lanez, real name Daystar Peterson, was attacked by a fellow inmate , Santino Casio, who allegedly heard rumors of Lanez wanting him harmed. Lanez was stabbed 14 times in the incident and suffered from 2 collapsed lungs. In the filing, Lanez’s team claimed that the prison guard referenced the 2025 attack “in a threatening manner,” sparking concern that the incident would be repeated. In April, the Peterson artist filed a $100 million lawsuit against the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, in addition to seeking damages from the warden and 50 correctional officers at California Correctional Institution in Tehachapi.…
