A charge has been dropped against two-time Super Bowl winner L'Jarius Sneed in connection with a 2024 shooting at a Dallas-area car dealership. Attorney Michael J. Todd made the announcement about his client on Tuesday, and Sneed, who is now a free agent, posted on social media that the "weight is finally off." Sneed originally was charged with aggravated assault in the alleged incident on 6 December 2024. The charge was later reduced to a misdemeanor for failing to report a felony, punishable by a year in county jail or a fine up to $4,000. The owner of a dealership in Carrollton, Texas, claims in a $1 million lawsuit that he was sitting in his vehicle when Sneed and another man drove in and shot at him.
