High-speed in-flight satellite internet is set to become significantly more common over the coming years. American Airlines has finalized an agreement with Starlink to equip more than 500 of its narrow-body aircraft with advanced connectivity, with the rollout scheduled to begin in early 2027. According to the commercial carrier , the upgrade to Starlink wireless technology will be integrated across hundreds of Airbus aircraft. This deployment will include newly delivered models, specifically the Airbus A321XLR and the Airbus A321neo .
