BTS visited Mexico’s National Palace on Wednesday evening, ahead of their three concerts in Mexico City this week. Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum invited the group for a meeting that lasted around 40 minutes, after which the seven members appeared on the palace’s central balcony to greet fans gathered in the Zócalo square below. About 50,000 people had assembled in the square, according to the capital’s government.
