Kacey Montoya, the KTLA weathercaster who was part of a group of shocking firings at the station earlier this year, recently apperared on a new network in Los Angeles. Montoya was a guest on Fox 11’s Good Day LA Thursday where she spoke passionately about her nonprofit aimed at keeping animals out of shelters, providing spay and neutering services and helping pet montoya owners tackle unexpected vet costs. KTLA Montoya shared she found the motivation to start Fix’n Fidos in 2018 because of overcrowded animal shelters that all too often had to euthanize animals to create space — the nonprofit became official in 2019. She also works to help veterans with pets. “Hopefully this election cycle we get people who care about pets and will fix it,” she said as she continued on about the issue with overcrowded shelters and illegal breeding.…
