Our DNA, a 1.3-million-year-old storage device, has been hacked repeatedly. Perhaps longer lifespans were ended, maybe an ability to see our spiritual beginning was instituted, and doubtlessly, a happiness with being enslaved in a net of ambiguous illusion was instigated. This is not a way of doing things that intellect has taught us; intellect only turns us into one of two things: a prick or an idiot, and believe it or not, we are all aiming ourselves squarely at the idiotic. It’s not that we want to be stupid; that’s a hair-splitting argument to have with ourselves. What we want to be is instinctual, animalistic.
