In 1996-1997, Donovan Bailey was declared the world's fastest man, as the 100m champion is always labeled. Michael Johnson argued that he was the world's fastest man because his 200m time divided by 2 was faster. So this rivalry began and they put together this goofy 150m race. Each runner was paid $500k to show up, and the winner got an additional $1 million. When Donovan starts to pull away, Michael pulls up with an injured hamstring, or was it? The thing that gets me is that he doesn't appear to be in pain at all, he's just chilling. Pulling a hamstring HURTS and Michael looks immune to pain after this race. https://youtu.be/H98wosmDPEk?si=COCMcdvAg0dIKxWD At least he appeared to be in pain when it happened again against Maurice Greene in 2000.…
