The Chicago Bulls made a move that garnered national media attention. They released guard Jaden Ivey for conduct detrimental to the team. The Bulls acquired Ivey from the team that drafted him in the first round of the 2022 NBA Draft, the Detroit Pistons. Back in the 2024-2025 season in January, he suffered a season-ending injury in the form of a broken left fibula. Before the injury, his game was trending in an upward direction along with the rest of the Pistons' young core. He averaged 17.6 PPG, 4.1 RPG, 4.0 APG, and was shooting 40.9% from distance–all career high marks.
