Me and my boyfriend are looking to go on a paddle-in canoe trip at Killarney this summer. We have a 15.5 foot Pelican canoe, but we normally transport it locally by strapping it down with a flag in my dad's truck. However this trip is hours away so we have to use my boyfriend's 2017 ford fusion sedan instead.

We're going with friends and they are each renting canoes, and we were considering doing that but it ends up coming out to 261$ for the rental. So we were just trying to see if there's some sort of roof rack set up we could get for a similar or cheaper price so we could just bring our own instead and plus we'd have the rack for future.

I've tried looking by myself, but it's been difficult to determine what would be compatible with his car for not a fortune, plus we wanna make sure the canoe won't fly off while we're driving on the 401.
