When I was growing up, this was the staple. Since I have been in the States, I have missed this bread. Finally trying my hand at it. Will post my result. If I could describe it, it has the texture of San Francisco sourdough without the sour. It's the bread for Bunny Chow curries and its the very best sandwhich bread there is. Fingers crossed. It's having it's first proof now.
