It feels a bit like we just left Westeros when A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms ended in February, but there’ll be no Game of Thrones -adjacent fatigue afoot with season three of House of the Dragon coming up in June. This new behind-the-scenes clip serves as a big reminder of just how different the two shows really are; while A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms is scaled-down , intimate, and fond of fart jokes, House of the Dragon plays out on a much, much larger scale. “Astronomical” is the word showrunner Ryan Condal uses to describe the war-torn season three, and we can’t say we disagree. “The scale’s enormous this season,” promises Matt Smith, who plays Daemon Targaryen.
