NADA’s Heather Hubbs on Building the Fair Into an Art-World Mainstay

Executive director Heather Hubbs joined the team of the New Art Dealers Alliance (NADA) in 2004, just two years after its inception, and has overseen the organization’s rise and expansion within the art world. What was once a small-scale endeavor has become a multifaceted, international affair. Returning for its 12th edition, NADA New York , one of NADA’s eponymous, tentpole art fairs, is set to return to the Starrett-Lehigh Building , its second year at the venue. Taking place May 13–17, the fair will once again bring together more than 100 local, national, and international galleries and dealers under one roof. The 2026 edition will also see the return of its Curated Spotlight, organized by curator Anthony Elms and presented in partnership with TD Bank , which is dedicated to platforming a key selection of galleries. While NADA New York may be one of the organizations most well-known ventures, it is far from the only one.…
