Hey everyone,

I’ve been working in tech for a few years (mostly React/React Native, recently exploring Python), and I was laid off not too long ago. Since then, it’s been a pretty rough phase.

The market feels unusually slow, responses are rare, and it’s honestly been challenging to stay motivated some days. I’m trying to upskill, stay consistent, and keep a routine, but the uncertainty does get to you.

I’m not posting this to ask for a job—just wanted to understand how others in a similar situation are dealing with it:

How are you structuring your day after a layoff?

What’s actually working in terms of applications or learning?

How do you stay mentally steady during this phase?

Would really appreciate hearing your experiences or advice.

Feels like a lot of people might be going through something similar right now.

Thanks for reading.
