I always thought Iron Man was a boring character. Now, I was a kid in the 90’s … always and forever a Spider-man fan. Grew up on Punisher, Wolverine, Venom, and Ghost Rider. My experience with Iron Man was just when he would pop up in crossovers … and I always thought he was lame. When the MCU started with Iron Man I was … surprised. Really? THIS is how they’re kicking it off? And when the movie was a hit (and really good) I gave credit to RDJ. “He made a lame character seem awesome.” So, now, here we are … and, through Spider-man and Venom, I’ve become a huge Madame Masque fan over the last two or three years. I start collecting her appearances … most of which are of course in Iron Man books. And now I’m just reading Iron Man and picking up random Iron Man issues whenever I come across them cheap. I was completely wrong about him. The books themselves are this great mix of sci-fi noir spy thriller … it’s techno-thriller paranoia.…
