Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos says authorities have gotten closer to solving the suspected abduction of Nancy Guthri e , the mother of Today show host Savannah Guthrie. Nanos, who is leading the investigation into Nancy Guthrie’s suspected abduction from her Arizona home on February 1, was approached by Fox News outside his department on Saturday. When asked if they were close to solving the case, Nanos replied, “We are,” without elaborating. The Independent has contacted the Pima County Sheriff’s Office for comment. Nancy Guthrie, 84, disappeared from her Tucson-area home nearly 100 days ago in what authorities believe was an abduction. Drops of her blood were found at the home, as well as her phone and the heart medication she needs to take daily. However, the case has not had an update in several weeks. Authorities and Nancy Guthrie’s family have offered a reward of more than $1.2 million for information to solve the case.…
