My aunt passed suddenly without a will. She had 50/50 ownership of our house with my mom. The house has been in my mom’s family for 3 generations and my aunt was given 50% ownership when my uncle passed. The original intention was for 100% of the house to pass to me as my aunt has no living children. My aunt has a living sister and 2 brothers that passed away. The brothers have 3 adult children between them that are all estranged from the family. Who is entitled to my aunt’s half of the house?
