Explora Journeys is one of the few “new luxury” cruise brands and it actually feels luxurious once you’re onboard. The ships are stunning! The ships are really design-forward ships, all-suite accommodations, and a calm, resort-like vibe that’s noticeably different from traditional cruising. There are no inside rooms, only balcony rooms and above. Everything is included. There’s not nickel and dimming, and the staff seem to actually care. It’s really a great experience in the sub 1,000 passenger category. I have been on Explora I and II 3 times now and it’s been great every time . I am hoping to check out Explora III with new features in the near future.
