Up until a few months ago, he was in a serious relationship with a man who was a little older than us, and who was truly an awful person. He was emotionally and, toward the end, physically abusive. They broke up because the man ended up getting arrested and going to prison for selling drugs. My friend moved in with me, and things have been great. He’s a good roommate, and it’s been nice to have my best friend around.
