No joke! Ever since people started theorizing the two being related, I always predicted they would be sisters with Rosalina being the oldest, AND I WAS RIGHT! This is exactly why we even got a Galaxy movie as the second Mario movie already as they wanted to prioritize exploring Peach's past relating to Rosalina since the first movie literally left us with the question of where Peach came from, and they successfully followed up on that as it was already foreshadowed in Peach's baby flashback scene where she was wearing a skirt with moons and stars as well as her mentioning a huge universe with a lot of galaxies instead when reacting to Mario's initial thought of maybe coming from his world. They just had to ideally make a Galaxy movie for the sake of introducing Rosalina already, as they simply brought back a scrapped original idea from the Super Mario Galaxy game. Enough thinking that it was a mistake to have made such a movie as the second one!…
