So in 2023 I finished grad school and immediately signed up for SAVE. Since my income was close to nothing for years I qualified for 0 dollar monthly payments and was told I needed to recertify November of this year before all this bullshiiiit happened. After the announcement that SAVE was made ILLEGAL (idk how you can make a contract that’s already been signed ILLEGAL BUT FINE) I logged into my financial aid account to see what was going on. I noticed that my application status for save actually still said “pending” even though I thought it got approved… back in 2023… … Also never received any of the SAVE emails that people are sharing now.. Before under grad and then grad school.. I went to a trade school that was later considered to be fraudulent so in 2021 I was able to submit a case to have my loans from trade school forgiven because the school was being sued. Totally forgot about it and never heard back until recently.…
