Planningtorock has teamed up with  Romy  for a tender and personal new version of their track ‘The One’ – listen below. READ MORE:    Romy on being back in the studio with The xx: “We’re up for trying new things but it sounds like us” The Bolton-born, Tallinn-based electronic musician – aka Jam Rostron – first released the song on their second album ‘W’ in 2011,  a record that  NME  described at the time  as “a masterpiece of art-pop experimentalism”. For this new version, Rostron has enlisted Romy from  The xx , with the original’s pizzicato strings being traded in for luscious synths and warm, soulful vocals.
