I didn’t take many photos inside because I was honestly just in the moment and a bit overwhelmed by how it felt being underground.
Walking through the narrow tunnels and steep stairs of Derinkuyu made it hard to fully process that people once lived here for long periods.
It felt less like a tourist site and more like stepping into a quiet, forgotten world carved deep into the earth.
