The Tampa Bay Rays have been one of the hottest teams in baseball to start the year and are emerging as a true contender early on.  While it still might be early in the season, there have been few teams in baseball that have been better than the Rays. This is a team that has multiple long winning streaks and has been able to jump out to an early lead in the American League East.  Coming into the campaign, this was a division that was expected to be one of the best in baseball. Every team besides Tampa Bay spent a lot of money, but the results haven’t been good for most of them.
