I am moving soon and have started the packing process. I find myself super overwhelmed suddenly and wanting to do a major declutter of everything I own. The funny thing is I don’t even own that much stuff because I grew up with parents who very much practiced the Konmari method and it’s stuck with me. However, when I see all of my belongings on the floor, even if it’s not that much compared to the average person, I feel so heavy and don’t want to take that feeling with me to the new house. Just wondering if anyone had similar experiences where they did let go of a majority of their possessions before moving.
