Earlier this month, David Burke, who performs as d4vd, was arrested for the murder of 14-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez. The 21-year-old alt-pop star was formally charged shortly after, and now new documents filed by prosecutors have been released. According to TMZ , investigators claim Burke stabbed Rivas to death at his Hollywood Hills home on April 23, 2025 after he ordered an Uber to bring the 14-year-old from her family's home in Lake Elsinore, CA. Prosecutors say that he had a shovel from Home Depot delivered through Postmates after he killed her. Then, on May 1, 2025, he allegedly bought two chainsaws from Amazon. Then, four days later, a body bag, heavy-duty laundry bags and an inflatable pool. He made all the purchases under the alias Victoria Mendez.
