Kenyon Sadiq, Dillon Thieneman drafted in round one Thursday Two Oregon Ducks turned pro on Thursday night after being selected in the first round of the 2026 NFL Draft . Former Ducks tight end Kenyon Sadiq is headed to New York after the Jets chose him with the No. 16-overall pick. The Chicago Bears selected safety Dillon Thieneman nine picks later, at No. 25. Sadiq was the first tight end drafted; Thieneman was the second safety chosen, following Ohio State’s Caleb Downs (Dallas Cowboys, No. 11). Thursday marked the second-straight year the Ducks produced a pair of first-round picks. Defensive lineman Derrick Harmon and offensive lineman Josh Conerly Jr. both went in the first round of the 2025 draft. In the common draft era (since 1967), Sadiq and Thieneman are the 25th and 26th Oregon Ducks drafted in the first round, respectively. NFL teams have selected an Oregon Duck in the first round of the last seven drafts, too, with nine first-round picks total.…
