The Los Angeles Dodgers' starting rotation currently features Yoshinobu Yamamoto, Tyler Glasnow, Shohei Ohtani, Emmet Sheehan, Roki Sasaki and Justin Wrobleski. But the unit is missing Blake Snell, a two-time Cy Young award winner. The left-hander is set to begin a rehab assignment on Wednesday, but he will have to make at least three to four starts before the Dodgers consider activating him. Manager Dave Roberts revealed what the team will be looking for from Snell before he joins the rotation. “I think the expectation is for him to go three innings and then probably six days later, do another three innings and go from there,” Roberts said. “It’s good to see him around and with the guys. I know he’s chomping at the bit.” Snell began the season on the injured list with shoulder fatigue, which was similar to what transpired in his inaugural season with the Dodgers.
