You may have heard the extremely exciting news that Times New Viking are back, but that doesn't mean Adam Elliott is shutting down his post-TNV band Long Odds. In fact, that crew has a new LP in the queue.
The Dry Land, the follow-up to 2022's Fine Thread, is dropping in July. Long Odds knocked it out in a day last June, with Philip Reed Hunter and the band's own Joseph Anthony Camerlengo handling the recording. Today they're accompanying the album announcement with a short, sweet tune called "Faorah." It moves with a casual warmth that suggests the years have softened Elliott (complimentary).
