What makes a CRM expert... clearly an expert?

Curious about how you guys are talking about your CRM expertise to others.

I am a CRM expert and I have this ongoing thought stuck in my brain: What makes a CRM expert... clearly an expert to people outside the field?

I always make it a point to communicate with my ICP better. And when I do, it seems difficult to explain what I do SUPER clearly, even to people who really need me and turn into happy paying clients.

I am an expert in the strategy part, and I can recognise another person like me from the depth of their engagement with CRM strategy and tools, and all the stories of trial and error, the different projects they have built and case studies they were part of. Also, they always know what NOT to do.

For those that aren't experts:
- Would these signals give you enough confidence to create an opinion on CRM expertise?
- Is there something clearer and shorter that signals this experience?
