The company recently announced the launch of the Chromebook CM14 (CM1406), a 14-inch laptop designed to combine performance with fairly-modern aesthetics. Available in Platinum Silver, Forest Blue, and Blue Aura, the new CM14 features a 14-inch display (with a touchscreen variant) and runs on a MediaTek Kompanio 540 processor with up to 8GB of LPDDR5x RAM alongside 128GB of eMMC storage. ASUS says that the laptop can last for up to 23 hours of battery life on a single charge. It also comes with an easily-accessible chassis, which features a redesigned bottom cover which features four user-removable screws, while a new screw-less latching system allows for tool-free battery replacements.
