Perhaps on paper, it might’ve made some sense for Xe’ree Alexander to explore opportunities away from Washington.  The senior linebacker from Auburn enjoyed a highly productive second half of the 2025 season, his first at UW after transferring from UCF. Alexander stepped in after linebacker Taariq “Buddah” Al-Uqdah’s season-ending anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury. The former Kennedy Catholic star finished the campaign as Washington’s second-leading tackler, and was named defensive MVP during UW’s 38-10 LA Bowl victory against Boise State.  But Washington’s linebackers expect to be fully available to start 2026. Al-Uqdah is progressing in his recovery. Fifth-year linebacker Jacob Manu and sophomore Zaydrius Rainey-Sale will also be ready for the start of the season after spending half of 2025 recovering from ACL injuries.…
