Am I ready to FIRE? My wife and I were considering getting a fee based fidicuiary FA to stress test my plan but I wanted to first ask of the wisdom of this community to weigh in. I'm 43 and wife 39 Stats: Combined Taxable accounts: $1.760 m Combined 401k: 1.070 m combined Roth: 0.173 m combined HSA: 0.130 m In the taxable accounts, roughly 50 k is in bonds and 220k in cash. Rest are etf/index funds Household expenses: Around 85k including medical. Paid off house. No kids I am burned out in medicine and seeking to leave asap. My income \~225k. Wife income \~112k. Roughly 12k of that is rental income from a property of ours. I hope to earn some future income but with seeking a career change, it might not happen for a long time if ever. Wife still has a good job she's planning to stay in for a couple more years. I know I should probably shift all that cash into something like bonds.…
