Alexa PenaVega and Carlos PenaVega competed against each other in season 21 of Dancing with the Stars . Alexa was partnered with Mark Ballas and Carlos was paired with Witney Carson. During the April 26 episode of the Two Be Continued podcast, the couple opened up about their experience on the show, revealing that Carlos was “very jealous” of his wife’s relationship with Ballas. “It was a blessing,” Carlos said, referring to them both appearing on the same season of the competition show. “Because I think if [Alexa] had done that show without me, I would have been at home watching TV and all the rehearsals and been like, ‘You’re spending 12 hours with this guy?’” He continued, “The fact that I got to do it as well at the same time—it’s a lot of work.
