Roving UHub photographer Brian Coonley spotted this MBTA bus-route sign on Waltham Street in Newton the other day. It's in surprisingly good shape considering it's for a route number that disappeared in 1982.  Compare to this annuated (if not quite yet superannuated)  trash receptacle that has been screaming "HEY" at passersby since the Menino days,  spotted on Boylston Street near Mass.
