Report card from the Knicks’ 108-102 Game 2 win over the 76ers on Monday night at the Garden:

Jalen Brunson

Started off slow amid pressure from defender VJ Edgecombe but recovered to close like the ol’ Captain Clutch, carrying the Knicks offense in the final minutes of a tight victory. Only hit one 3-pointer, but his pull-up midrange game was strong in the fourth quarter.

Grade: A-

Karl-Anthony Towns

Silly early fouls kept Towns off the court for all but eight minutes of the first half. Then became the focal point of the offense in the third quarter, leading to a strong stat line (20 points, 10 rebounds, seven assists). Almost another triple-double.
