A shooting has reportedly occurred outside of Chris Brown 's Tarzana, California, home. On Friday afternoon (May 1), just four days before the singer's 37th birthday, police were reportedly called to the street outside of Brown's home after a male suspect allegedly fired at a vehicle driven by a woman. The suspect, who Complex has confirmed was not the 2-time Grammy winner, was a 35-year-old Black man. The man was taken into custody at the scene and arrested for assault with a deadly weapon other than a firearm, as well as vandalism. “Yesterday around 4:11, LAPD officers from the West Valley division responded to the 19600 block of Citrus Ridge Drive to reports of a shooting that had just occurred,” an LAPD Media Relations officer told Complex.
