That moment yoyu messed up but somehow resolved You ever had a moment while teaching where you know for a fact you messed up so bad it could potentially result in parents complaining, administrative meetings, or termination? but somehow, in a crazy magical way it resolved itself without you having to do anything? Years ago i taught at a elementary school in Florida. had a class of 5th graders. i had this one student who has been through a lot of familial issues. nothing physical just an overwhelming amount of drama with her parents. apparently, her mother was listed as "Do Not Contact" in the schools internal systems but i was never informed of this and the physical files i was given was not updated. Fast forward, my student starts talking about missing her mom and wishing she could chat with her. i tell her "if you want we can call her now". she gave me a huge smile. we called her mom and they chatted for a while. i never spoke to mom but i heard her through speaker.…
